The SK-HD1300 is Hitachi’s top-of-the-line progressive scan HD Studio, EFP and sports camera. Outstanding images are acquired by three 2/3” 2.3 megapixel progressive scan MOS imagers. Hitachi’s implementation of the most advanced digital processing technology provides both low-noise pictures and multiple HDR profiles. The HD signal is generated by our newest UAIT (Ultra-Advanced) MOS imagers. Digital Signal Processing is handled by 38-bit Hitachi DSP’s. The SK-HD1300 is progressive scan throughout the entire camera chain and outputs 1080/60p, 1080i, 720p and SD-SDI. A new CU-HD1300(X) multi-format CCU connects to long-range triax and/or SMPTE fiber optic cable by simply switching the camera head adapters. An optional 4K upconverter with 12G output is available.

Features & Functions

  1. New CU-HD1300FT with options for SMPTE fiber and/or triax cable connections:
    • CU-HD1300F connected via SMPTE fiber outputs.
    • CU-HD1300T connected via triax cable outputs 1080/60p, 1080i, 720p and SD-SDI.
  2. NEW 2/3-inch, 1080/60p, progressively scanned, (Ultra-Advanced) UAIT-MOS sensors.
  3. 1,100TVL standard resolution.
  4. >60dB signal to noise ratio (1080/60p without noise reduction)
  5. 38-bit per pixel per R,G,B channel Hitachi 40nm digital processing technology
  6. 3Gbps progressive HD-SDI signal handling from end-to-end.
  7. Switchable between progressive and interlaced signal processing, transport and outputs.
  8. Multi-format global design outputs signals for most TV broadcast and production standards.
  9. SMPTE-311M hybrid optical fiber cable provides transmission and camera power up to ~9,842 feet.
  10. Advanced triax system with ultra-low-latency H-264 codec and multilevel digital modulation for long cable runs.
  11. Triax cable length up to ~4,250 feet with 9232 ½” triax cable. ~2,300 feet with 9267 3/8” triax. (1080i mode).
  12. The camera can operate with common-off-the-shelf Single-Mode fiber (with external camera head power).
  13. Single-Mode fiber can be used up to 10Km (~33,000ft.) without external adapters, accessories or modifications.
  14. The camera system can use an optical routing system to connect a large network of camera heads and CCUs.
  15. NEW control panels (SU-1000 and RU-1500 series) can control up to 128 cameras with a TCP/IP network.
  16. CCUs can be addressed and controlled via a common TCP/IP data network.
  17. Dual 5-position motorized filter wheel is optionally available.
